Bath Festival Orchestra

Orchestra, that was founded 1959 in Bath, England & formed by [a=Yehudi Menuhin] as the resident symphonic ensemble at an international music festival held every spring in Bath Abbey, Wells & Bristol. In 1968 Menuhin resigned as artistic director of the festival, took the orchestra with him and renaming it as the [b][a=Menuhin Festival Orchestra][/b].
