Living on the streets of East Oakland, Ca is a struggle all on its own. Hailing from the town that raised some of the greatest RnB and Rap artists such as Tupac Shakur, Mc Hammer, Digital Underground, The Luniz, Too Short, Mike Marshall and Keyshia Cole comes yet another great entertainer Eddi projex. Undeniably one of Oakland's most versatile Rappers Eddi Projex has something for everybody to listen to. From crafty Hip-Hop tunes to Cadillac classics and Poetic Gangsta rap Eddi reaches all musical listeners. One of his most recent collaborations between himself and Hi-Speed records has made Eddi p's new album Now or Never a Mainstream Deadringer. Projex went on a 5 year run from the authorities, which led him to linking up with Hip-Hops most notorious and well-respected Rappers Numbskull(of the Luniz),and Money B (of Digital Underground) and Ras Kass. Projex credits both Platinum selling Rapper Numskull and Rass Kass for developing his rap style and also moved around with Numskull to cities such as New York, Los Angeles and Oakland. During this time Digital Underground and The Luniz made Eddi their official Hype man on several tours. It was between these tours that Eddi formed a group named The Hittaz On Tha Payroll releasing two group albums (Underground Like Dead People Part 1[2001], Ghetto Storm [2003]. Following the release of these two albums it was evident for Eddi to release a solo album Eddi Projex Presents: Oakland Street Music Vol. [2005] featuring artists such as Mac Dre , D-Loc of 415, Mr. F.A.B, Hittaz On Tha Payroll, Sav Lil Homiez, FM Blue, G-Stack of the Delinquents, Numskull and Money-B.
