Euan McLaughlin

Euan McLaughlin is a multi-instrumentalist & producer from Leith, based in Glasgow. He has performed, recorded and collaborated with a wide and diverse range of artists across the UK, Europe and Australia performing at major events such as Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair, Celtic Connections & Festival Interceltique De Lorient. In 2022 he was given the Ignition Award for Innovation by Hands Up For Trad. "...one of the most exciting new folk artists on the Scottish scene...truly captivating...Euan McLaughlin has you vibing to a fresh wave of folk music" As well as releasing his own music, Euan is part of Dub/Folk collective An Dannsa Dub, works with the Electronic/Trad outfit Valtos (MG Alba Trad Music Awards Up & Coming Artist of the year 2022) and plays in his brother Lewis’ band (Glastonbury Emerging Talent Winner 2022). Euan works in a variety of roles as a session player, producer and string arranger. People he’s worked with include Last Boy, Cara Rose, Lapwyng, Dante, Ewen Bremner, Andy Monaghan, Rhona Stevens, Vulin, Flytt, Ostar Sound, Kathryn Joseph & Tinderbox Orchestra, and Greentrax. Euan has also toured with Johnny Mac & The Faithful opening for Rod Stewart, recorded on the ITV series ‘Victoria’ and has been played across the BBC including on Radio 6 Music, Radio 1, Radio Scotland and more.
