Doctor L

French-Irish musician, producer, and artist. Born: 1968 in Dublin, Ireland. Initially a drummer in various rock bands ([a=Taxi-Girl], [a=Les Wampas], [a=Les Rita Mitsouko], etc.) before turning towards hip-hop. In the early 1990s, he joined [a=Rockin' Squat], [a=Solo (14)] and [a=DJ Clyde] in rap group [a=Assassin (2)], and produced their first two albums. In 1996, he left them to pursue a solo career in more trip-hop orientated releases. Later, he went to collaborate with [a=Tony Allen], [a=Stomy Bugsy] or [a=Rodolphe Burger], also releasing several things on the Allen's associated label [l=Comet Records].
