Alrune Rod

Alrune Rod ("Mandrake Root") is a Danish, psychedelic/progressive rock group that existed between 1968 and March 1975. They were originally called [b]Alrunes Rod[/b] on their first single, the 1969 7" [i]Pigen på stranden[/i] ("The Girl On the Beach"), as well as their 1969 selftited album debut. Leader was [a=Leif Roden] (1948-2010), creating the major part of the band's material. Alrune Rod disbanded in 1975, but was reformed in the 00's with original members [a=Leif Roden], [a=Mikael Miller] and [a=Ole Poulsen]
