Mia Doi Todd

b. June 30th 1975 Classically trained vocalist Mia Doi Todd began writing songs as a student at Yale University. Her first three albums were her alone with a guitar, all on small independent labels. Her fourth album was released on [l=Sony Music Entertainment Inc.], and consisted completely of reworkings of songs from her past three albums. Mia has lent her voice to a number of projects over the years, including [a=Dntel], [a=Beachwood Sparks], [a=Nobody], [a=Adventure Time], [a=Frausdots], [a=Folk Implosion], [a=The Mission], [a=Saul Williams], [a=Prefuse 73], [a=Flying Lotus], [a=vosotros] and [a=Winter Flowers]. She also owns the label [l=City Zen Records] as an output for her own work. She is married to [a=Jesse Peterson], and has a daughter named Ynez, born circa 2012.
