New London Chamber Choir

[b]New London Chamber Choir[/b] ([b]NLCC[/b]) is a British contemporary vocal ensemble, founded by [a=James Wood (4)] in 1981. [a=Matthew Hamilton] serves as the musical director of NLCC since 2014. The choir has collaborated with [a=Jonathan Harvey], [a=Mauricio Kagel], [a=György Kurtág], [a=Toru Takemitsu], [a=György Ligeti], [a=Iannis Xenakis] and other prominent composers (several of whom have written works for it), as well as many renowned new music groups, including [a=Ensemble Intercontemporain], [a=London Sinfonietta], [a=Champ D'Action], [a=Ictus (2)], [a=Amadinda Percussion Group], [a=Rascher Saxophone Quartet], [a=The Kreutzer Quartet], and [a=Percussive Rotterdam]. [a=Pierre Boulez] was a patron of NLCC from 1984 until his death.
