Digital Dubs

Raised in 2001, Digitaldubs is the 1st reggae sound system in Rio de Janeiro, creating a new chapter in the Brazilian reggae culture. Their musical production brings a unique mix of uk dub and jamaican dancehall, adding a natural brazilian accent to it. All this versatility can be experienced in the many different moods they bring to the dance floor. Digitaldubs recordings features international vocalists - as Ranking Joe (with the hit “Fyah Bun Dem”), YT (the anthem "Sound System Culture"), the late great Sugar Minott, Cedric Myton from The Congos, the icon Lee "Scratch" Perry - and the Brazilian artists such as the members of the crew, Jeru Banto & Jota 3, to the legendaries Tom Zé and Gilberto Gil. In Rio their parties their partys became some of the most celebrated in the underground scene. Digitaldubs is the responsible for make the sound system culture, and styles like dub and dancehall, more popular all over the Brasil, not only making national tours but opening doors to bring to the country, artists like Zion Train, Mad Professor, Mungo's Hi Fi, Iration Steppas, Aba Shanti I, Vibronics and many more. As a "Brazilian dub ambassador", Digitaldubs have been traveling around the globe, from North and Latin America to Europe and beyond, playing gigs and joining important music festivals and continually building a strong international reputation.
