Hazzan Abraham M. Mizrahi
A Green-born tenor, attended the Chicago Musical College and graduated from the Cantors Institute-Jewish Theological Seminary of American, having studied voice with William Robyn. He has served as student Hazzan of the prestigious East 55th Street Conservative Synagogue, New York and spent five years as Hazzan of Temple Israel in Albany, New York. As Hazzan of Adath Israel Congregation since 1975, he continues his vocal training with the eminent Andrew B. White. Hazzan Mizrahi has concertized extensively throughout the U.S., singing in numerous synagogues , Harvard University, Town Hall and Carnegie Hall.
