Örn Eldjárn Kristjánsson
Icelandic, born and raised in the beautiful valley of Svarfaðardalur and thus been inspired by the nature of Iceland in his composition. His musical education began at an early age, where he studied various instruments such as trombone, piano and guitar, and has guitar been his main instrument. He also started playing with bands an an early age and from that his interest in songwriting and composition grew. He got accepted at the Iceland University of Arts in Film Music Composition and graduated in June 2010. His mentor was Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson, film music composer, and since then they have been collaborating on various projects. He is currently working with his bands, Tilbury, Ylja, Snorri Helgason band and Brother Grass, as well as writing and arranging for other musicians.
