Rick Burnett

Rick Burnett is a drummer that is originally from Auburndale, Polk County, Florida, USA. Burnett played in several local Polk County garage bands during the late 60's and early 70's including "United Sounds" and "[a=Raintree County (2)]." In 1972, he and guitarist [a=Larry Howard] went to the Warner Robins / Macon area in Georgia, USA to form southern-rock's [a=Grinderswitch] with [a=Dru Lombar] and [a=Joe Dan Petty]. Signed to [l=Capricorn Records], [a=Grinderswitch] would record several albums and perform around the world over the next 7 years.
