Lucas Martínez
Spanish saxophonist born in 1994 in Blanes. In 2012 was accepted in ESMUC (Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña) with the best mark of the discipline. In the first semester of 2016 he moves to Graz with the Erasmus change. His teachers were: [a=Julian Argüelles], Renatto Chicco, Michael Abenne, [a=Gorka Benítez], [a=David Xirgu], [a=Albert Bover], [a=Eladio Reinón]... He has played and recorded with musicians like [a=Gilad Hekselman], [a=Dick Oatts], [a=Jorge Rossy], [a=Jaume Llombart], [a=Raynald Colom], [a=Marco Mezquida], [a=Dani Pérez], [a=Andreu Zaragoza], [a=Félix Rossy], [a=Jo Krause] and [a=Ramón Prats]. With his trio LMJ Trio wons the second position in the “Grupa Azoty Jazz Contest” in Poland and he won the “Best Solist Price” of the competition.
