Lynn August

American singer, keyboardist, drummer, percussionist and accordionist, born August 7, 1948 in Lafayette, Louisiana. August has been blind since the age of four. He started his career very young, he was hired to play percussion with [a=Esquerita] at the age of 12. He played with [a=Buckwheat Zydeco] in the '60s. Co-founded [a=Lynn August & The Hot August Knights] in 1988, together with saxophonist [a=John Hart (6)].
