Axel Jørgensen

Danish violin and viola player and modern classical composer (1881-1947). Entered The Royal Danish Academy of Music at the age of 16 where he trained as a violinist. In 1919 he successfully competed for admission to The Royal Danish Orchestra as a violinist where he was solo violinist from 1932 until his death in 1947. Among other things also a member of Breuning-Bache quartet.
