Daouda
Daouda Koné, also known as Daouda the sentimental, is an Ivorian singer born January 1, 1951 in Niangoloko. After technical studies in France and a job at RTI, he began his career as a singer. It reached its peak in the 1980s with songs like "La femme de mon patron", which described the misadventures of a driver to whom his employer's wife made sexual advances and threats. In general, many of his texts speak of relations between men and women, hence his nickname “Daouda the sentimental”.
