Nina Raye
Australian singer & dancer (b. Lerup, Philippines 13 Aug., 1936 - Came to Australia in December 1941. Started professional career at Celebrity Club in 1952 as a dancer, then soubrette at the Roosevelt 1952-1953. Began singing at the Chequers where she worked 1953-1961. Continued on nightclub circuit up into 1990s.
