Koninklijke Militaire Kapel "Johan Willem Friso"

Established on January 1st, 2005, through a merger of the [a1479639] with the [a1489553], it is the leading professional wind orchestra attached to the Royal Netherlands Army (Koninklijke Landmacht). Although established in 2005 it carries on the tradition of the [a1479639] established in 1819 and [a1489553] established in 1829. The orchestra is based in the [l1271064], in the province of Drenthe (The Netherlands).
