Richard Wattis
1912-1975, English character actor. Many supporting roles in film & television, especially comedy. Memorable recurring role with Eric Sykes and Hattie Jacques in the long running sit-com "Sykes", where his cut glass accent perfectly fitted the social climbing, pretentious, busybody neighbour, Charles Fulbright-Brown.
