Puppies
New wave band from San Diego, California, U.S. Formed by keyboardist - songwriter [a=Dane Conover], guitarist - songwriter [a=Richard Filaccio], bassist [a=Nino Del Pesco], guitarist [a=Jimmy Krieger] and drummer and vocalist [a=Irene Liberatore] (ex-member of the all female band of San Diego, The Dinettes). They were discovered by [a=Kim Fowley] and they released a single at [l=Stiff Records] produced by [a=Liam Sternberg] and an album before splitting. [a=Dane Conover] went on with [a=Trees (4)] and [a=Nino Del Pesco] joined [a=Snuggle Bunnies] and then co-founded [a=The Lonesome Strangers].
