David Greenberg

David Greenberg is both a baroque violinist and a traditional fiddler, orignally from Maryland, USA. He studied baroque violin with Stanley Ritchie at Indiana University's Early Music Institute, and moved to Canada in 1988 to join the Toronto-based [a=Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra]. Greenberg has performed with Apollo's Fire (Cleveland's baroque orchestra), the Seattle Baroque Orchestra, BaroQuébec, and the [a=Toronto Consort]. Since moving to Halifax in 2000, David has helped to found the Tempest baroque ensemble.
