The Good, The Mad & The Lovely Posse
Adam Ant's backing band since April 2010. Originally known as Adam Ant's Pirate Metal Extravaganza and featuring, Crewdson on guitar, Ryder Prangley on bass, [a4060147] on drums with Love joining as second drummer. Deactivated after Ant hospitalised May 2010 but reactivated minus Leggs October 2010 as The Good, The Mad & The Lovely. The word "Posse" later added 2011, inspired by Ant protegés [a5726418]. By end 2010, Ant had two separate versions of the band in separate rehearsals. Version 2 (with Edwards, Round, Woodward, Rodowicz and Gavin White) replaced Version 1 (Crewdson, Love, Edwards) January 2011 when Crewdson was touring US with his band [a224604]. By mid 2017 Rodowicz and Woodward remained, following sudden death of Edwards in January.that year (Crewdson returned 2014, Holweger replaced Round October 2011) New guitarist Adam Leach since May 2017. Ryder-Prangley temporarily returned August 2021 as COVID-19 isolation cover for Holweger.
