Electronic-punk-noise band from Atlanta, GA. Experimental musical project began by Paul Harper that also included members David Spence and John Hannah in the most well known line-up as a three piece. Contributors to the live band as well as recording and writing sessions included Dan Walton, Annie Alder, Jaye Marie Spangler, Lori McAlpine-Smith, Bradley Bailey, Dan Wakefield, and a few others in the project's short but active life. Containing some elements of improvisation, most musical pieces were largely based on chord progressions from songs written by Harper when he was a tween that was obsessed with the film Alien, thus the clever moniker for the group. Releases were largely done under the supervision of John Hannah in order to focus more on polished songs for public consumption. Lyrics on these releases were written and performed by Hannah. Music was almost entirely written and arranged by Harper with some assistance from Spence and Hannah. Some drum overdubs were added in post production without the participation of Harper.
