Les Porn Flakes
In the spring of 2000, around a game of billiards, begins the unpretentious adventure of Porn Flakes. The goal: surround yourself with friends and play the music of our idols, sipping a good beer ... or two ... or three! The idea is refined and takes the name of Rock 'n Roll Orgy. The success of these crazy happenings, held at Club Soda in Montreal, is immediate. Why? The secret lies in the unexpected, the surprise. Oh yes! the list of guest performers remains unknown to the public (and sometimes even Porn Flakes!) until they come on stage. If the shows are sometimes somewhat improvised, they remain of very high caliber, proof of the professionalism of the musicians, true musical encyclopedias. The delighted public is asking for more. How, indeed, resist Michèle Richard who interprets Ozzy Osbourne or Eric Lapointe who demonizes the clown of our childhood by singing Patof Blue? And it is not easy to curb an atmosphere so festive, playful and over-stimulated, which is why it is transported in the legendary and very popular after-show parties, which end rather late into the night. Since 2006, these musical orgies have been gaining popularity and the band is abandoning Club Soda's intimate atmosphere to perform on larger stages throughout Quebec. The pleasure that Porn Flakes have to play together is almost palpable: we hear it, we see it and above all, we feel it! So rock lovers from the 1950s to today, what are you waiting for?
