Jack Hylton And His Orchestra

The most iconic British band of the interbellum era, it was led by impresario Jack Hylton, whose showman skills joined to its unique blending of American jazz and British music hall traditions made the orchestra Europe's favourite throughout the 1920s and 1930s.
