Gracie Ridgeway

Vocalist, session singer and backing vocalist born June 16, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan. Gracie died on April 19, 2006 from a skin condition called Scleroderma. Along with her sisters [a=Gloria Ridgeway] and [a=Esther Ridgeway] they formed a singing group at the age of four, six and eight, respectively, and sang all types of music from Gospel to Jazz, Blues to Hip Hop, Classical to Country Western in addition to their mainstay, Soul and R&B. As the group [a=Sweet Cream], they released their first album [url=http://www.discogs.com/release/779639]Sweet Cream And Other Delights[/url] in 1978 on [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/Shadybrook+Records]Shadybrook Records[/url].
