Esther Ridgeway

Vocalist, session singer and backing vocalist born June 7, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan. Esther died on February 22, 2003 from a heart attack. Along with her sisters [a=Gracie Ridgeway] and [a=Gloria Ridgeway] they formed a singing group at the age of four, six and eight, respectively, and sang all types of music from Gospel to Jazz, Blues to Hip Hop, Classical to Country Western in addition to their mainstay, Soul and R&B. As the group [a=Sweet Cream], they released their first album [url=http://www.discogs.com/release/779639]Sweet Cream And Other Delights[/url] in 1978 on [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/Shadybrook+Records]Shadybrook Records[/url].
