Rag-And-Bone

Swedish progressive folk rock/americana band started as a solo project by singer/songwriter Mats Nilsson in Malmö, 2005. He released the debut album "Rag-And-Bone" (MPE-002 Musicspot/Musicplace Europe) in 2007. The second album "Novice Pioneer" (RABMCD-001 Plugged Music) was released in 2010. Both albums were recorded and produced by Pontus Snibb (Bonafide, Jason & the Scorchers) who also played drums and guitar on the recordings. "Novice Pioneer" features Dan Baird (Georgia Satellites), Warner E Hodges (Jason & the Scorchers), Guy Griffin (Quireboys), Jalle Lorensson (Wilmer X), Esbjörn Hazelius (Sofia Karlsson, Ale Möller) among others. The band released the double LP (with a featured CD) "Everything can be burnt but the truth" in 2016. Just like on the two first albums the music was written by singer and guitarist Mats Nilsson. This time the music was recorded by the band Rag-And-Bone featuring Lars Magnusson, David Svedberg, Johan Malmberg and Pelle Johansson who's been in the band since 2010. Members: [a=Mats Nilsson (22)], [a=Lars Magnusson], [a=Pelle Johansson (6)] and [a=Thomas Jönsson] The fourth album (Clear red vinyl, Gatefold LP including a CD, ltd 300 copies) named ”How Long is the Dark?” was released in 2019.
