Nikolaj Steen

Danish, musician, composer, producer and actor, born 10 February 1967 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Son of jazz pianist and bandleader [a=Niels Jørgen Steen] and actress [a=Avi Sagild], brother to Danish actress [a=Paprika Steen] and half-brother to [a=Kim Sagild]. Though a musician, Nikolaj Steen has had major acting roles in both film and television. Owner of [l299376]. Together with the drummer [a=Peter Schiøtz] and [a=Kim Sagild], Nikolaj Steen formed the group [a=Nickname (2)] in 1986. Later Peter Schiøtz and Nikolaj Steen became a duo and released the albums "Nikolaj Steen" and "Blindfolded". Nikolaj Sten joined the band Spacehead and released the album [a=Spacehead (3)], but also produced for other artists. He has frequently accompained on tour and produced [a=Sanne Salomonsen]. In 2001 he became a solo artist.
