French-Antillean rapper and singer, born 12 June 1988 in Strasbourg, France to Antillean parents and raised in Fort-de-France, Martinique, on the French Caribbean island, performing a mix of reggae, dancehall, hip-hop and trap with lyrics in French and Martiniquan Creole. Raised on Martinique, Kalash made his first steps into dancehall in 2003 appearing on several compilations. Influenced by the traditional folkloric music of his island and roots culture, Kalash released his debut album "éponyme" on Chabine Prod. earning a 2011 SACEM prize for his single "Pran Pié". His followed up with his sophomore album "2 #Classic" before signing with [a=Booba]'s [l=92i] and releasing his third album "Kaos" in 2016.
