Kano

Italian disco/italo-disco/electro project. Collective of producers, songwriters and musicians [a234334] (guitars), [a187085] (keyboards), and [a238456] (producer), often with deep r'n'b vocals from [a307882]. They released three early 1980s albums, scoring dancefloor hits with "[m=35951]" (1980), "[url=http://discogs.com/master/35970]It's A War[/url]" (1980), and "[m=59447]" (1981). Although Kano is considered the starter of italo-disco by many, it also served as a bridge to electro and breakdance later in the 1980s.
