Terry Disley

Terry Disley was born in London & studied classical piano, theory & composition. After winning Best Jazz Musician of the Year award with Macondo, he played many shows at Ronnie Scott's club & toured / composed & recorded with 2 time Grammy Nominees Acoustic Alchemy. He also collaborated with Eurythmic Dave Stewart (as musical director), playing sessions, touring, & working on the movies Showgirls, Beautiful Girls, Crime Time & The Ref. He also composed music for the movie Monument Avenue. As a session player in London, France & LA he worked with Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Sir Mick Jagger, Bryan Ferry, Billy Bragg, Madness, Van Morrison, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Tom Jones, Alicia's Attic, Shakespeare's Sister, Terry Hall and Bon Jovi. Since relocating to San Francisco Terry has released a string of CD's with his instrumental jazz group including "Experience," "Across the Pond," "The Jazzcracker," "West Coast Jazz Impressions," "London Underground," & "Brubeck vs. Guaraldi."
