Pendergast (2)

Pendergast was a bare bones rock band from Kansas City, Missouri. Pendergast formed in the spring of 2002 with the help of former guitarist [a3162582] (ex-[a2051304] band.) After [a3162643] left [l34325] [a1625982], [a5966275] broke up and he started the Secret Liquor Cure. Creative differences and frequent lineup changes made sure that band never lived up to its potential. Frustrated, Ladesich left the rock and roll stage to explore filmmaking (winning two Emmy awards.) He was convinced he wouldn't start another band, and then the phone rang. "Chris called after he quit Kristie's band, and I had always wanted to play with him. I thought why not. I have the songs, let's see what happens." They enlisted [a1506973] on drums from the Kristie Stremel band and [a3162637] of Pulling Unit on bass. During their debut year the band played to great crowds all over the Midwest. In the spring of 2003, the boys began work on their first record "The Truth About Saturday Night." In the fall of 2003 Chris Meck left the band to pursue his own interests. In December of 2003, [a3162638] (ex-Big Tobacco) joined the band to fill the vacancy left by Chris. A new, more powerful rock ensemble was born with the addition of Mike's lush guitar tone and vast experience.
