Indian-born jazz guitarist, composer, and teacher, based in the UK. Known for his own recordings and his collaborations with other British musicians, notably [a=Joe Harriott] and [a=Stan Tracey]. Born: 19 March 1936 in Bombay (now Mumbai), India. Died: 17 July 1996 in Brighton, England, UK (aged 60).
