Ian Morris

Ian Morris found fame in the massively popular New Zealand rock act Th'Dudes in the late 70s, as guitarist and prime songwriter with [a=Dave Dobbyn]. Ian Morris went on to become a producer and engineer of some note. In the 80s he had a couple of huge pop hits under the name [a=Tex Pistol]. He was married to the singer [a=Kim Willoughby] and father to [a=Maude Morris] and [a=Julia Morris (2)]. His brother is [a=Rikki Morris] Birth name Ian Gordon Morris Also known as Tex Pistol Born 22 January 1957 England Died 7 October 2010 (aged 53) Napier, New Zealand
