Romano Musumarra
Italian arranger, composer, record producer, keyboardist, flutist and vocalist, born 21st July, 1956 in Rome, graduated in piano at the Conservatory of S.Cecilia. Very young he joined [a=La Bottega dell'Arte] (1974-1985), where are playing [a=Piero E Massimo Calabrese], with whom realizes in their Studio Pollicino [i]"Toute Première Fois"[/i] by [a=Jeanne Mas], the song with which began his fabulous international career, especially in France, regularly collaborating with lyricist [a=Luc Plamondon]. In 1985 La Bottega Dell'Arte reaches the success again with the great Italo-Disco song: [i]"Our Revolution" b/w "We Just"[/i], realized with [a=Mario Tagliaferri] DJ, [a=Roberto Zaneli] and [a=Lorenzo Meinardi] (alias [a=Richard Romeo]), published on 12 inch Disco Mix by [l=S.P.Q.R.] by [a=Claudio Casalini], who by designer [a=Claude Gorial] create album cover and logo of singer Moses (2) (aka [a=Jerry Cutillo], co-author of the song). He also works for many French artists such as [a=Alain Delon], [a=Celine Dion], [a=Mireille Mathieu], [a=Demis Roussos], [a=Sylvie Vartan], as well as artists of the English language, such as [a=Tina Arena], [a=Ray Charles], [a=Nikka Costa], [a=Dana Dawson]. In 1988 received the medal of [i]Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres[/i] for all his work by the Minister of Culture Jack Lang.
