This project intends to present the artist in a more intimate light, closer to an artistic personality still in the making. Here, even if the spiritual energy of reggae remains, the big bass is eclipsed while Manding blues and resolutely jazzy influences assert themselves. Today she presents her new songs in a trio. Her compositions, sung in English, Wolof and French, oscillate between African melodies, soulful singing and rap. Daba is a musician who has many strings to her art.
