American drummer, percussionist, guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, engineer and producer. Born June 6, 1948 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Moved to Los Angeles in 1969. Jones runs his own recording studio in Los Angeles called "Robust Recordings". Jones has recorded with, produced and/or engineered many artists over a 5-decade-plus career, including: Bash & Pop, Bernard Fowler, Bob Dylan, Christine Lakeland, Crabby Appleton, Cracker, Del Shannon, Jack Tempchin, Jackopierce, Jim Horn, Jim Wilson, Joe Walsh, Johnny Rivers, Julianna Raye, Marc Ford, Michael Angeloff, Pegi Young, Peter Himmelman, Randy Newman, The Rembrandts, The Rolling Stones, Roy Orbison, Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Waddy Wachtel and many others.
