Jamaican ska/reggae band from Yekaterinburg, Russia Their sound is based on classic ska/reggae/rocksteady/dub styles, while the main idea of ​​the project is loyalty to the traditions and groove of Jamaican music. The dance pulsation of ska and reggae here intertwines soft soul vocals, unusual harmonies, and modern production. The band toured in Russia and Mexico and performed at the Mexican festivals Non Stop Ska (2019) and Ixtapaluska (2023) alongside with Roger Rivas, Dr. Ring-Ding, Western Standard Time, Kingston Rudieska, and others. Now Lollypop Lorry has: • 15 million views on YouTube. • 50 thousand listeners on Spotify monthly. • 70k followers on Facebook, 55k on Youtube, 20k on Instagram. The discography of the band includes 11 singles and 3 LPs. The latest is an experimental dub-jazz crossover "Lollypop Lorry Goes Dub" (2020). All LPs are released on vinyl, while some LPs and singles were dropped by the legendary Chicago label Jump Up Records. Collaborations include: cover and video for the official tribute to ska stars Inspector; a single with Mexican band Out Of Control Army. The song "Little Lie" was featured on a compilation of leading ska bands for the Kingston educational organization Alpha Boys School (with the participation of SuperNova Ska Festival and Jump Up Records).
