Claude François

French pop star, musician (drummer and violinist), songwriter, producer, label owner and dancer. Born 1 February 1939 in Ismailia, Egypt; died 11 March 1978 in Paris, France. Commonly known as Clo-Clo. He was one of the first major artists in France to set up his own publishing an production company and label, [l54112]. Outside of France he's best-known as co-writer (with [a=Jacques Revaux]) of the song [i]Comme d’Habitude[/i], made famous by [a=Frank Sinatra] in a rewritten version by [a312014] titled [i]My Way[/i].
