Infectious Grooves

Infectious Grooves were formed in 1989. The first breakthrough of Infectious Grooves is in the early 1990s. Infectious Grooves is a semi-humorous funk metal "supergroup" originally featuring [a=Suicidal Tendencies] frontman Mike Muir, bassist Robert Trujillo (now with [a=Metallica]), and guitarist Dean Pleasants, with ex-[a=Jane's Addiction] drummer Stephen Perkins, [a=Excel (3)] guitarist Adam Siegel, and keyboardist Dave Dunn. Their first album, "The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move…It's the Infectious Grooves", featuring a load of guests including [a=Ozzy Osbourne], was released in 1991 at the height of the popularity of funk metal.
