Kim Hutchcroft

[b]Kim Hutchcroft[/b] is American saxophone and flute player, born in Middletown, Iowa and is best known for his work as a session musician and touring musician for various artists. Hutchcroft received a musical education, first at the University of Iowa and then, at Indiana University, where he was more interested in performance than teaching. At Indiana University, Hutchcroft met [a=Jerry Hey] and [a=Larry Williams], and the three soon found themselves playing shows in Hawaii and formed the Seawind Horns band. Kim's versatility as a reed player, on instruments ranging from baritone and tenor saxophones to alto and soprano saxes, flutes, and wooden recorders, was a major asset to Seawind's unique sound and impressive horn section.
