Tracey Lee

Former hip-hop artist and currently, entertainment attorney. Born on October 22, 1970 in Patchogue on Long Island, New York; musically based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Known for his hit single, "The Theme (Party Time)" (1997). Retired from rapping in 2003 to become a lawyer after obtaining a communication undergraduate degree from Harvard University and a juris doctor degree from Southern University Law Center. His return to rap was short-lived with the 2014 release of his sophomore and recent album to date, [i]Esq. (The Revelation)[/i]. Two years later, Lee became the faculty staff of Coppin State University as an adjunct professor teaching the business of music in its course. He also hosted and produced a podcast titled [i]Married to Hip Hop (Not The Drama)[/i], which premiered on multiple platforms in 2015. His co-host and executive producer is his wife, Lori Lee, whom he has been married to since 2013.
