Rastegar

Swedish hip-hop artist and radio presenter, born September 30, 1982, died July 6, 2016. He grew up in the Gottsunda district in Uppsala. He gained attention in 2003 when he recorded a music video for the song "Samhället" which was played on ZTV among others. In connection with the recording of the sequel "Ingen hör oss", he got a job as program manager for Rastegar in P4 in Sweden's Radio Uppland. Vahid Rastegar also won the Stora Radio prize in 2007 for the year's music/entertainment with the program Rastegar in P4. In 2007, the single "Om vi ​​inte" (feat. Patrizia) was released, which became Rastegar's most popular single to date. Rastegar has also recorded a duet together with Nordman in the song "Livet som en värsting". The album "Lev medans du kan!" was released on November 27, 2013. On the album, the collaboration with the singer from the group Nordman, Håkan Hemlin, continues. The first single from the album was called "Be Yourself". In 2014, Rastegar was up to date with a solo album. The first single from that album was called "Släpp inte taget". The music video for the song "Släpp inte taget" is directed by the actor and director Rafael Edholm. He died after colliding with a tree in the suburb of Hökarängen in southern Stockholm.
