American soul singer. Died February 4, 2013 at the age of 76. Founding member of The Cookies, left the group to join [a393089] in 1958. Older sister of [a693891] and some websites say they were one person--but they weren't. Cousin of [a693894], who was also in The Cookies. Her "You" hit #103 in 1959 on the U.S. charts.
