DJ Carl E
Carl E is one of the most profiled djs in Norway when it comes to electro house and club music. He has played at all clubs and parties there is worth to mention in Norway for the last decade, and numerous clubs abroad as well. He's been rocking the smallest clubs in Finnmark to the biggest illegal underground warehouse-parties in London. He is most known for his pumping, hard drive that he used to play some years ago, but now he plays everything from funky house to deeper progressive things. One of his most exciting gigs was to play as the main act for thousands of Russians in Murmansk at the Electronic Music Festival. He has played records since 1987 when he started to play during the acid-house wave. As a resident at the notorious afterhour clubs, Concrete Club and Cats back in 95-99 he has developed his own special sound that you still can recognize in his sets. 4 mix-compilations has he managed to release so far on Arcade Music and VME (Elipse Lounge, Wicked Traxx vol 1, Wicked Traxx vol 2 and Wicked Trax vol 3). Carl E is involved in many concepts these days (The Underground Sound Of Oslo, Strictly, Loaded Etc.) which is often held at different locations in Oslo with the biggest national and international djs within the electro house/ progressive gender. Carl E is also well known from concepts like Hyperstate, SubCity, Baia Beach, Temple of Love, Goliath, P3(National radio), Quart Festival, Ministry Of Sound, just to mention a few.
