Ελένη Ρόδα (Eleni Roda) is a greek Laïkó singer, born in 1942 in Larissa. The sweet girl of Greek cinema who the older ones remember from her appearances in Greek films (16 movies), was a graduate of the dramatic school of Dimitris Rontiris, but she turned very early into singing. In her first steps she was on the side of [a=Μίκης Θεοδωράκης], performing songs at his concerts. Her first album was with [a=Δήμος Μούτσης] (music) and [a=Νίκος Γκάτσος] (lyrics). She collaborated with artists like [a=Γρηγόρης Μπιθικώτσης], [a=Βασίλης Τσιτσάνης], [a=Γιώργος Ζαμπέτας], [a=Χρήστος Μενιδιάτης] etc and she performed songs by [a=Μάνος Λοΐζος], [a=Λευτέρης Παπαδόπουλος], [a=Μίμης Πλέσσας], [a=Μάρκος Βαμβακάρης], [a=Γιάννης Παπαϊωάννου] and [a=Γιώργος Μητσάκης].
