Teddy Riley

US producer, born: October 8, 1967, in Harlem, New York. Pioneer of the New Jack Swing style mixing Soul, R&B and Hip-Hop to very influential effect, forming the groups [a=Blackstreet], Guy, [a=Wrecks-N-Effect], and Pure Soul. Riley is also known for his close association with the late King of Pop [a=Michael Jackson], producing his singles such as "Remember the Time", "Jam", "Blood on the Dance Floor" and "Hollywood Tonight". Also discovered and nurtured acts such as [a=The Neptunes], Rodney Jerkins, SWV, Hi-Five, Queen Pen.
