Maarten Altena Ensemble

Jazz and contemporary ensemble formed by [a=Maarten Altena] in 1980. In 1997 Altena stopped playing in the Maarten Altena Ensemble, as he could no longer combine all his different activities. He still worked as a composer and arranger for the Ensemble though, until 2005 when he finally took his leave as artistic director of the group, which would then continues as [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/320258-MAE]Ensemble MAE[/url].
