Move (styled as M.O.V.E or m.o.v.e, and previously as move) was a Japanese musical group. The group consisted of Yuri a.k.a Yuri Masuda (益田 祐里) on vocals and Motsu a.k.a Mototaka Segawa (瀬川 素公) performing the rapping. The band was formed in October 1997 by producer T-Kimura a.k.a Takashi Kimura (木村 貴志). Motsu and T-Kimura previously worked together in several other bands including RAVEMAN and MORE DEEP, where as Yuri joined after advancing to the finals of Asayan an idol talent scouting competition, was signed to Avex's Label Cutting Edge and released one single (PARADISE). The band is most easily recognized for opening and closing theme's that where used for anime including, Initial D and Ikkitousen, as well as for Yuri and Motsu being the voice and models for Vocaloid 2's Lily and Mosh, who are featured prominently through out the bands Anim.o.v.e albums. On December 2, 2008, T-kimura stated on m.o.v.e's official web site that he would focus more on production, and less on performing. On December 7, 2012, the group announced on their official website that, after a stint of 15 years, they will disband after their last live performance on March 16, 2013.
