The London Gabrieli Brass Ensemble

Britain's oldest brass group, co-founded in 1963 by trombonists [a2668750], [a1554675], [a516198] and [a2409294]. Between 1975 and 1984, stewardship of the ensemble passed to [a848520] and [a491879]. [a1518754] succeeded Crispian as leader in 1984. The abbreviated name of "The Gabrieli Brass" was used for some popular/easy listening releases in the 1960s and early 1970s
